Group B has finished at K1 League Season 2 in Shanghai where ETeng has finished on top, setting up a semi-final versus fnatic. Group A winner TyLoo will face New4. First group was finished roughly a month ago with domestic heavyweights TyLoo besting their competition with nine straight wins, and fnatic escaping to playoffs by a single match's difference. ETeng emerged as the clear favorites in group B, as they won seven games with losses coming in against New4 and NR. New4 advanced with five wins, comfortably two more than their closest competition.
After two months spent on group stages, the rest of K1 League Season 2 will be finished by November 10, which means both semi-finals, the third place decider and the eventual grand final will take place much sooner.
As we previously reported, should fnatic manage to take down ETeng in their semi-final, former captain Patrik "cArn" Sättermon will make a short comeback in the grand finals. Due to K1 League being played in CS: Online, no HLTVs will be possible but we should be able to post hot matches with stream links so those interested can follow the action. |
